'Adobe Abode' Bed & Breakfast



The “Adobe-Abode “ Bed and Breakfast is situated five minutes from the Launceston Airport in the historic village of Evandale, Tasmania.

We offer one ensuite room with a queen sized bed, one standard room with a queen sized bed and private bathroom, plus one standard twin room with private bathroom. Coffee and tea making facilities and a microwave oven are available. The large guest lounge and dining room has a cosy wood heater to curl up beside with a good book, a glass of wine or just enjoying the company of fellow guests.

The “Adobe-Abode” is a three minute drive or a 20 minute walk along a delightful country lane, to the historic village of Evandale. As you amble along this hawthorn lined lane you will enjoy the sights and sounds of the tranquil surrounds of the rural environment. Watch the lambs frolic in the paddocks in the spring and take in the beautiful views of the distant mountains.

The large garden offers many nooks and crannies to sit and read, paint, write, chat or listen to the twittering of the many birds who come to visit. You may also sit and enjoy a “cuppa” as you read your newspaper in the enchanting courtyard.
